Easy Shrimp Stir Fry

Appliances/Tools Needed

  • Stove top

  • Medium-Large Fry pan and cover

  • Cooking spoon/spatula

  • Small bowl 

  • Small chef’s knife

  • Cutting board or surface

  • Serving dish


Ingredients

  • Cooking spray/butter

  • Minced garlic 

  • A quarter white/yellow onion

  • Frozen stir fry vegetable mix

  • 12oz bag of raw and thawed medium shrimp

  • Stir fry sauce of choice

  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Cooked rice or noodles (optional)


Directions

  1. Start by chopping the quarter of an onion into small pieces, then set aside

  2. Empty your bag of shrimp into your bowl and give them a rinse under cold water

  3. Once rinsed, remove the shells of the shrimp and discard (this is optional but makes for easier eating)

  4. Heat up fry pan on medium high heat with cooking spray or butter in the pan

  5. Once the pan is heated, add chopped onion to the pan and let cook for 2-3 minutes

  6. Next add in your minced garlic and let cook for 1 minute or until fragrant

  7. Once garlic and onions are cooked, add the shrimp in the pan and allow to cook until shrimp are mostly white
