Avocado Egg Toast

Appliances/Tools Needed

  • Small frying pan

  • Small bowl

  • Fork

  • Toaster or frying pan

  • Spatula

  • Spoon


Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of sliced bread 

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted

  • 2 eggs

  • Cooking spray or olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Crushed red pepper (Optional) 

  • Sriracha (Optional) 


Directions

  1. In the small frying pan, set the heat to medium then spray the cooking spray and crack the eggs into the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  2. Once the bottom is cooked, carefully flip over to allow the other side to cook, about 2-3 more minutes

  3. While the egg is cooking, start to toast your bread.

  4. In the small bowl, add your peeled and pitted avocado then begin to mash with the fork.

  5. At this time you can season the avocado mash to taste with salt, pepper, or any other seasoning you like

  6. Once the eggs and toast are cooked to your liking, spread the avocado mash on the toast and top with eggs.

  7. (Optional) Top with any favored topping such as sriracha, everything seasoning, cheese, etc.
